Who is leaf + marble?

Hi there!

I'm Chey, and I run leaf + marble. 

leaf + marble was created out of a love for crafts, and a need for financial independence and increased income. Over the years, I realized that my job was not enough to survive on. While I make more than minimum wage, it is not enough for my family and I to actually afford basic necessities without obtaining credit card debt. I would like to use leaf + marble to break this cycle of debt, and give my child a better future than I was looking at before starting leaf + marble. 

I have loved making things since I was a child. For years, new projects and ideas fascinated me. With my business, this is no different. That is why you won't find a specific "niche" here at leaf + marble. I make things as they appeal to me, which causes many different product types. Over time, I will phase out items that do not sell, and make more of the ones I love the most. Most of our non-cosmetic/beauty items are customizable, meaning they make the perfect gift!

leaf + marble strives for environmentally-friendly practices whenever possible. It is important to me to be conscious of waste, and try to ensure that all products are made as eco-friendly as possible. Most items are either reusable or recyclable, and we always strive to find new packaging materials that are eco-friendly.

The hope is to grow leaf + marble to be my main source of income. In doing so, there are a few things I would like to also do. As I grow and increase profit margins, I would like to donate extra money to different charities. I have spent my life trying to help others whenever possible, and I would like to do the same with my business. While I am not able to start donating significantly yet, I do hope to be able to donate a certain percentage of sales to different charities each year.
